"Mr President, organic farming means nature governing food, but the EU wants a law of nature written in Brussels. The EU wishes to harmonise organic products and production, with more EU regulations and more EU snoopers.
It is ‘straight banana’ time again! Organic products come in all shapes and sizes, but the EU cannot accept that. The EU believes that nothing should escape manic control. People are selling food in pounds and ounces. When they are caught they are treated as criminals. Why? Because this is EU control for the sake of it.
The report praises the common agricultural policy, which was one of the worst EU mistakes ever. The CAP destroyed areas of British agriculture, and now the EU wants to destroy British organic agriculture. UKIP wants to see organic farming flourishing, not buried under tonnes of EU manure."@en1
