As far as the other questions are concerned, a recent report by Amnesty International says that stun guns are not used for torture or ill-treatment by the police or prison guards within the European Union. The use of stun guns is for self-defence and riot control is not in question.
The other issues you raised must be reviewed in the context of this regulation. I shall be ready to inform Parliament once I have obtained more detailed information from my colleague and his departments."@en1
