Triples with object I, with my fellow UKIP colleagues voted against this legislative vote regarding the granting of short-term visas. Although this vote only relates to the Schengen area, which the UK is not part of, UKIP opposes the principle that the EU can decide immigration policy for any Member State. The only people who should decide immigration policy and visas are nationally elected and accountable governments, not undemocratic EU institutions in Brussels.
