We need to ensure consumers are well protected through further action to empower consumers to make informed decisions, to increase transparency of retail financial products, and to remove consumer barriers to switching and any unjustified costs relating thereto, or to withdrawal from a product. The Commission should take further initiatives, including a proposal for an EU savings account and encouraging finance for sustainable and green investments."@ro2
