"During the year 2014, regions have started to develop and publish their RIS3 strategies. The aim of these strategies is to create knowledge-based, sustainable growth, balanced development and high quality jobs in all regions, not only in well-developed areas but also in regions in transition as well as in less developed, rural and island regions. All this shall contribute to the achievement of the Europe 2020 objectives. I agree with the main areas identified by the report, where improvement for RIS3 should be carried out. Moreover, this report provides excellent options for boosting innovation at regional, national and EU levels. Because innovation is an area that is continuously changing, I believe that RIS 3 strategies should be constant revised. Therefore, I support the review of the strategies after 2017, which seems mandatory in order to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of them, taking also into account the lessons learned from the initial years of their implementation."@ro2
