These recommendations are sent based on the three pillars of the United Nations, which are peace and security, human rights and development. This year`s amendments to the draft recommendations concern issues closely connected to the realities of today’s world, such as LGBTI rights, women’s representation at all levels of the decision-making process, zero tolerance for death penalty, and children`s rights. I support these amendments, as they address issues that are of great concern for myself and the Alliance of Socialists & Democrats."@ro2
