lpv:spoken text	"The overall aim of this regulation is to create a clear legal framework in the EU for determining the jurisdiction, applicable law and the recognition and enforcement of decisions in matters of the property consequences of registered partnership. This is a necessary procedure in light of the fact that the free movement of people has led to a significant increase in the numbers of international couples. Thse couples have to deal with a number of cross-border issues, and are facing legal problems in dealing with property and when dividing it following separation. Therefore, the present regulation will provide clear instructions which will help international couples by allowing them to choose the law that is applicable to them, the jurisdiction of the courts and also as regards the recognition and enforcement of decisions adopted in other Member States."@ro2
