lpv:spoken text	"Today the Latvian Prime Minister concludes the country’s first Presidency of the EU Council. Over the past six months, many priorities have been in the spotlight: the European Fund for Strategic Investments, energy policy, the Data Protection Regulation, the Eastern Partnership, roaming charges, immigration issues. Also developments in Ukraine and Russia, terrorism, and the financial crisis in Greece. The Latvian Presidency has proven to be highly efficient and pragmatic. During the past months, they have concluded very difficult negotiations on Juncker’s investment package, the Market Stability Reserve, ILUC (Indirect Land Use Change) and the Telecoms Single Market Regulation. This would not have been possible without the dedicated, well prepared and professional approach of the Latvian Presidency. It has been a very valuable experience for Latvia. I am proud of my country and its people for such a successful performance."@lv2
