"Following the economic crisis, the level of investment in the EU has dropped and has never come back to its ordinary level since. SMEs within the EU are still facing the consequences of the financial crisis and incentives are needed in order to motivate businesses to come back to various risky fields. An Investment Plan for Europe together with the establishment of the European Fund for Strategic Investments does exactly that by aiming to address gaps in the market and mobilising private investment. The plan will have strong positive implications on sectors connected to education, research and innovation, which will consequently lead to economic growth and job creation. Therefore, I invite everyone to support this plan and contribute to further implementation of the plan domestically and throughout the EU."@lt2
