lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the creation of the European Fund for Strategic Investments, the Juncker investment plan. This plan foresees EUR 315 billion in investments over the next three years to boost European economy and innovation. This is an original and practical solution in a situation where no extra funds can be expected from the Member States. In total EUR 240 billion are foreseen to be used for investments, and EUR 75 billion will be made available for SMEs, the backbone of the European economy. The negotiations between Parliament and the Council have led to more democratic scrutiny from the Parliament side – stronger reporting and an increased accountability. I welcome also that Parliament gained the right to approve the appointment of the managing director and deputy managing director of the investment fund."@et1
