lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, this resolution once again reminds us of the ever-present issue of an EU Member State being occupied by a foreign country. The actions taken by Turkey can only be viewed as a threat to the economic well-being of Cyprus, and this is a clear violation not only of international law but also of the UN Charter and the Convention on the Law of the Sea, which was established to prevent such actions and to preserve law and order, especially the claims of countries to specific bodies of water that fall within their domain. As Turkey has given numerous examples of its disregard for the legitimacy of the Republic of Cyprus, this can only be viewed as yet another attempt to deny its existence. I stand here to support Cyprus and condemn the continued actions of Turkey."@pl2
