lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of Lithuania joining the eurozone, and I am overwhelmed by the fact that 545 colleagues supported Lithuania’s adoption of the euro, thus paving the way for Lithuania to join the eurozone on 1 January 2015. This marks the final success of Lithuania’s efforts to comply with the common rules on fiscal and economic discipline. It is also a further clear proof that the eurozone is viable and continues to grow. Poland too is on its way to join in the foreseeable future. Lithuania was the third Baltic state to join the eurozone, reminding the European community that it requires political will and commitment to further European integration, to conduct structural reforms, to ensure budgetary balance and to abstain from spending resources that are not available. I welcome our Lithuanian friends to the eurozone. Another contribution has been made to reliable fiscal discipline in practice."@et1
