All those who say, for fully-grounded reasons, that we should not lift the embargo have to answer that question: why Libya? Why not Syria? 25 000 refugees came to Europe last year: one third to Germany, one third to my own country and the rest to the European Union. That is about 4%, and that is not very much. My question to you, Commissioner (and Ms Flautre raised the issue as well) is: what about the Temporary Protection Directive used in Kosovo? Is it not time to act? Also, could you consider lifting the visa requirement for Syrians to give them a chance to come to Europe?"@sv2
