"Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, I find it quite right that we agreed in the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy to enter this topic on the agenda. However, I do not see what is to be gained if we now hold over our discussion of the matter for a month, when both previous speakers have described it as urgent. If you feel that drafting a resolution will help to resolve the problems, then I am not sure I can agree, to put it diplomatically. I think we should make this an urgent public issue. That is what we would suggest, and we shall undoubtedly return to the matter in future. However, postponing our resolution on the matter hardly implies that it is urgent; instead, it looks more like Parliament indulging in a spot of navel-gazing."@en1
