lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report. I firmly believe that every living being deserves dignified treatment. I welcome that this report also clearly acknowledges the link between animal health, animal well-being and human health. Further, it is very important to underline the need to enforce the implementation of existing EU legislation on animal welfare in the Member States. EU directives are meant to be implemented, and that without delay. Thirdly, it is equally important to anchor the aspect of animal welfare also in our trade policies. In order to ensure fair competition, and in general animal welfare outside the EU too, we have to oblige third countries to comply with the EU standards in this matter."@et1
