". Yes, there are two aspects to it: one concerns the action that can be taken in the short term to try to soften the impact of the temporary imposition of the ban on deep sea gillnets. "Ja, en daarbij spelen twee zaken een rol: een ervan betreft de maatregelen die we op korte termijn kunnen treffen om de effecten van het tijdelijke verbod op geankerde kieuwnetten te verzachten. Daarover zijn we in gesprek met de Regionale Adviesraad voor de noordwestelijke wateren en op 7 april staat een bijeenkomst gepland waarop we deze kwestie hopelijk met de Adviesraad kunnen doornemen.
