Είναι ιδιαίτερα επιζήμιο το γεγονός ότι η επαρχία έχει αναπτύξει ανεργία, η οποία, σύμφωνα με ορισμένα στατιστικά στοιχεία, ανέρχεται σε ποσοστό περίπου 50%, ενώ σύμφωνα με άλλα στοιχεία είναι υψηλότερη. Συνεπώς, είναι απολύτως αναγκαίο να συνεχίσουμε να στηρίζουμε το Κοσσυφοπέδιο με την οικονομική μας βοήθεια. ". Comparto la preocupación de su Señoría en torno al elevado nivel de desempleo en Kosovo. Es contraproducente que la provincia haya desarrollado un desempleo que, según algunas estadísticas, es del 50 %, pero según otras es incluso mayor. Ce taux, qui atteint environ 50% selon certaines statistiques et serait encore plus élevé d’après d’autres statistiques, est préjudiciable à la province. "Condivido la preoccupazione dell’onorevole Posselt in merito all’alto livello di disoccupazione in Kosovo. E’ un fatto negativo che la regione abbia raggiunto un tasso di disoccupazione che si aggira intorno al 50 per cento secondo alcune statistiche, ma che secondo altre è anche maggiore. Pertanto dobbiamo assolutamente continuare a sostenere il Kosovo con la nostra assistenza finanziaria. E’ altresì d’importanza vitale che le istituzioni provvisorie del governo autonomo del Kosovo vengano aiutate tramite il quarto pilastro della MINUK, approvato dall’Unione, per marcare progressi nell’ambito della riforma economica, privatizzazione compresa. In generale, occorre trovare al più presto una soluzione, perché la pressione demografica in Kosovo rende la ripresa economica un compito estremamente difficile in assenza di un quadro chiaro giuridicamente definito e riconosciuto a livello internazionale.
