"¿Puedo preguntar al Comisario si divulgará la investigación llevada a cabo para demostrar que cuando los coches circulan con las luces encendidas durante el día se reducen de forma significativa los accidentes de tráfico? ¿Puedo preguntar además si considera más conveniente que este asunto sea abordado por los Estados miembros? Si al Comisario le interesa el tema de la seguridad, hay varios ámbitos en los que la Comisión podría intervenir. En Francia, por ejemplo, los taxistas no están obligados a usar el cinturón de seguridad, pero deben hacerlo al entrar en Alemania. ¿No resulta más apropiado dejar este asunto en manos de los Estados miembros?"@es20

"Je souhaite demander au commissaire s’il compte diffuser l’enquête qui a été faite pour démontrer que l’utilisation des feux de croisement durant la journée réduit de façon significative le nombre d’accidents sur la route. J’aimerais également savoir s’il ne pense pas que ce problème pourrait être géré de façon plus efficace par les États membres. Si le commissaire s’intéresse aux problèmes de sécurité, il existe un grand nombre de domaines dans lesquels la Commission pourrait s’investir. J’ai remarqué, par exemple, qu’en France, les chauffeurs de taxi ne sont pas obligés de mettre leur ceinture de sécurité, mais s’ils roulent en Allemagne, ils doivent le faire. Vorrei inoltre chiedere se non ritiene che tale questione potrebbe essere meglio affrontata a livello di Stati membri. "Mag ik de commissaris vragen het onderzoek te verspreiden dat is uitgevoerd om aan te tonen dat het aantal verkeersongelukken significant omlaag gaat wanneer auto's overdag met dimlicht rijden? Ik zou ook graag van hem willen horen of hij vindt dat dit een kwestie is die het beste door de lidstaten kan worden aangepakt. "Ser-me-á permitido perguntar ao Senhor Comissário se poderá dar a conhecer os resultados da investigação levada a cabo, com vista a demonstrar que o facto de os automóveis circularem com as luzes acesas durante o dia reduz significativamente os acidentes de viação? Ser-me-á igualmente permitido perguntar se não considera tratar-se de uma questão cuja resolução será mais eficaz ao nível dos Estados-Membros? Se o Senhor Comissário está interessado na questão da segurança, há muitas áreas em que a Comissão poderia envolver-se – por exemplo, verifico que em França os motoristas de táxi não são obrigados a usar cintos de segurança, porém, assim que atravessam a fronteira para a Alemanha, essa obrigatoriedade existe. "Kan kommissionsledamoten låta oss få ta del av den forskning som visar att om man kör med halvljus/varselljus under dagtid sker en signifikant minskning av trafikolyckorna? Får jag också fråga hur han ställer sig till att detta är en sak som medlemsstaterna själva kan ta hand om på bästa sätt? Om kommissionsledamoten är intresserad av säkerhetsfrågor finns det ett otal områden där kommissionen kan engagera sig. Jag ser t.ex. att i Frankrike behöver taxiförarna inte använda säkerhetsbälte, men om de kör in i Tyskland är det obligatoriskt. Är inte detta en fråga som medlemsstaterna hanterar bäst själva?"@sv21
