Le sono molto grato perché si è reso conto dell’urgenza del problema dal momento che, con l’apertura delle frontiere nell’Unione, la criminalità organizzata è libera di operare e prosperare, mentre le nostre forze di polizia sono nazionali e non possono varcare le frontiere. "Ik dank u, commissaris, dat u bent gebleven om de vraag te beantwoorden. Ik ben u er zeer dankbaar voor dat u het spoedeisende karakter van dit probleem inziet, want de open grenzen in de EU stellen de georganiseerde misdaad in staat internationaal te opereren en te floreren, terwijl onze politiemacht nationaal opereert en niet grensoverschrijdend kan optreden. We zitten dus echt met een probleem. Ik ben blij dat u de urgentie van het probleem inziet.

Jag är väldigt tacksam över att ni inser hur brådskande detta problem är, för med öppna gränser i hela unionen kan den organiserade brottsligheten härja fritt och blomstra, medan våra polisstyrkor är nationella och inte kan korsa gränserna.
