Considero que as alterações introduzidas pelo Parlamento Europeu ao nível dos prazos e frequência das notificações de exportação, da quantidade de informações exigida, da assistência técnica e da formação são fundamentais a uma melhor adequação aos objectivos estabelecidos pela Convenção de Roterdão, pelo que se espera que o Conselho e a Comissão venham a acolher estas alterações favoravelmente. "It is my view that the amendments tabled by the European Parliament on the timing and frequency of export notifications, the level of information required, technical assistance and training are crucial to better meeting the objectives established by the Rotterdam Convention and so we hope that the Council and the Commission will receive these amendments favourably.
