Creo que en un tema difícil, técnico, ha hecho una labor excelente y ha permitido que se presenten unas enmiendas que, como bien ha dicho, afectan a todos los elementos básicos de la propuesta de la Comisión e introducen una serie de criterios que nosotros compartimos.

I believe she has done an excellent job on a difficult technical issue which has allowed the presentation of amendments which, as has been said, affect all the basic elements of the Commission’s proposal and introduce a series of criteria which we agree with.
She has insisted on the need to introduce references to the internal market, and not only to globalisation, when discussing this objective; she has also commented on the need to highlight specific problems and, in this respect, also the distinction between sexes, which she believes to be a ‘mainstreaming’ issue. I believe that is something more. It is also a fundamental source of information for analysing the labour market and for providing us with data which may be useful to us in the future. In summary, she has improved on the Commission’s text.
Mrs Lulling has also referred to environmental issues. She rightly says that it is true that the additional statistics may mean limited excess costs. This is not always the case when new information is required, but it is true that the timescales proposed for this introduction are reasonably acceptable.
For this reason, the Commission considers that the proposal presented, and which it expects Parliament to approve, are useful and we are therefore going to support them before the Council, which will take the final decision, and we hope that it will accept the fundamental elements of it."@en3

Dankzij haar is een reeks amendementen ingediend die, zoals zij terecht heeft gezegd, betrekking hebben op alle basispunten van het Commissievoorstel en diverse criteria aandragen die ook door ons worden onderschreven.

Detta är en svår och teknisk fråga och hon har gjort ett fantastiskt arbete och har även tillåtit att det lagts fram vissa ändringsförslag som, vilket hon så riktigt har sagt, påverkar alla de grundläggande faktorerna i kommissionens förslag. Genom dessa ändringsförslag införs även en rad normer som vi instämmer i.

Lulling har tagit upp miljöfrågorna. Hon säger med all rätt att den kompletterande statistiken endast medför begränsade merkostnader. Det beror visserligen på i vilken utsträckning det krävs nya uppgifter, men de tidsfrister som har föreslagits för införandet är relativt godtagbara.
Av dessa skäl anser kommissionen att de ändringsförslag som har lagts fram är användbara och vi hoppas att parlamentet kommer att anta dem. Vi kommer att stödja dessa ändringsförslag inför rådet, som är den institution som det tillkommer att fatta det slutliga beslutet, och vi hoppas att rådet tar till sig de grundläggande delarna av dessa."@sv13
